The University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Continuing Studies and Corporate Education Division has been chosen as the recipient of three national awards from the Sloan Consortium, for excellence in its online education programs. The division has been recognized for "Excellence in Institution-Wide Online Teaching and Learning Programming" and "Excellence in Faculty Development for Online Teaching", while faculty member Psychology Assoc. Prof. Joan Cannon was awarded the honor for “Excellence in Online Teaching". UMass Online reports:
