Global Conference on Online Learning

November 30 will mark the start of the 12th International Conference for Technology-Enhanced Learning, the Online Educa Berlin, which will feature over 2,000 participants from more than 75 countries contributing to 300 presentations, workshops, and seminars. The focus will be on the international e-learning industry, with people from the corporate world, public and private educational institutes, government agencies, and public administration taking part.
The conference will highlight the use of information and communication technologies and new tools in distance and online learning besides discussing the importance of games-based learning and simulations, e-inclusion, informal learning, community-based services, and management and leadership development. An exhibition will run parallel to the conference with 120 vendors from across 20 countries displaying their e-learning offerings.
Pre-conference forums such as “Lifelong Learning – Policy and Practise in the UK”, “European Cooperation in Education through Virtual Mobility”, “E-Learning for Defence and Security”, and “E-Learning in the Automotive Industry Sector” will commence on November 28.
